So each bike is wrapped in multiple protective layers with the vulnerable parts padded, then strapped upright in a closed carrier rather than laid on its side. Standing and secured is how it should travel.

The fuel comes out before loading, which is standard for safety, and the bike goes in its own space so it isn't leaning on anything else. Whether it's a commuter scooter or a heavier motorcycle, the wrapping and the securing are done the same careful way.

A condition check you can see

We note and photograph the bike's condition before it's wrapped, existing marks and all, and check it again on delivery, so the handover isn't a matter of trust alone. You can compare exactly how it went on and how it came off.

Because two-wheelers often travel alongside a house move, we can put your bike on the same plan as the rest of your things and keep the dates together where the route allows.

A committed date, quoted upfront

Bike transport is priced on the route and whether it's a shared or dedicated load, and we commit to a delivery date rather than leave it open. You get the figure in writing on a GST invoice, and if you're moving a whole home too, the bike simply becomes one line in the overall quote. Optional transit insurance is available if you'd like the cover.

On its own, or with a move — and the pricier bikes

Plenty of bikes travel on their own, a student sending a scooter home, someone shipping a motorcycle ahead of a move, and we handle those as a standalone job with their own pickup and delivery. Just as often the bike rides along with a full house shift, in which case it's folded into the overall quote and kept on the same dates where the route allows.

If it's a high-end or vintage machine, say so when you book. Those get extra attention, more padding on the tank and fairings, strapping placed so it won't mark the paint, and a spot where it isn't crowded by other bikes. The care is the same in principle for any two-wheeler, but a bike you've put real money into is worth the extra few minutes, and we take them.
