Packers and movers in Begur work a pocket that's changed a lot in a short time. It's an old village with a lake and a fort at its heart, off the Hosur Road side near Bommanahalli and Hongasandra, and the tech growth of Electronic City and the southern belt has wrapped it in new apartments and layouts within a decade. So a move here means dealing with two very different Begurs at once, the old village lanes and the fresh gated blocks.

The village-side housing is older independent houses on narrow, sometimes winding lanes, full-crew jobs with a decent load and often a spot where only a smaller vehicle can reach the door. The moves themselves are rarely difficult. What holds them up is almost always something that has nothing to do with the furniture.

The gas connection is the classic. If you're crossing into another distributor's area, and plenty of Begur moves do exactly that, the cylinder can't simply come with you on the truck, the connection has to be transferred and that takes days rather than hours. Hosur Road, and the pull of Electronic City

Begur sits close to Hosur Road and the southern tech belt, which shapes both the traffic and the moves. The Hosur Road stretch and the Bommanahalli side back up at the office peaks, and a loaded truck caught in that loses real time, so we pack early and get the vehicle moving before the crush builds. A lot of the demand here is tech workers wanting to be near Electronic City without its township prices, which means plenty of weekend and joining-date moves.

For a local shift staying within the southern belt, over to Bommanahalli, Hongasandra or Hulimavu, the day's an easier one, short distances once you're past the main-road timing. For anything heading toward Electronic City or the Hosur highway, the access is genuinely handy, the truck reaches the southern routes without dragging back across the city.

Weekend dates near month-end fill fast with the tech crowd's leases turning over together, so lock the slot early if you can only move on a Saturday or Sunday.

What a Begur move costs

The city ranges apply, ₹4,000 to ₹9,000 for a 1 BHK, ₹6,000 to ₹15,000 for a 2 BHK, and ₹9,000 to ₹25,000 for a 3 BHK, moving with the floor, the access and how much of the packing you leave to us. A hop within the southern belt keeps you at the lower end. A move across the city climbs from there.

Access sets the number more than distance, as everywhere on this side. A lift-served flat on a finished road empties fast, an old village house on a tight lane that needs a shuttle and a stair carry takes longer and more hands, and that's what shows on the bill. So we survey before quoting, put one figure in writing, and match it on the GST invoice at the end. No moving-day additions.

First moves, small moves, and storage

A big share of Begur's work is first move-ins, families taking possession of a flat in one of the newer blocks, often their first place of their own. Those come with the usual checklist, confirming a builder's move-in slot, padding a new lift, and sizing the vehicle for an approach road that may not be finished. We handle plenty of them.

The lighter end is busy too, PG rooms and bachelor 1 BHKs near the tech belt shifting on weekends, priced flat over a video call. It's a dense enough belt that we usually have a crew nearby, so short-notice and next-day slots are more realistic here than out in the thinner outskirts.
