Bike Transport Services near Neeladri Road
Neeladri Road runs through the residential side of Electronic City Phase 1, lined with shops, eateries, pharmacies, small offices and the services that feed the campuses nearby. A lot of those businesses run on two-wheelers: delivery scooters, a manager's motorcycle, a technician's bike for site visits.

When a business opens a branch in another city, or moves staff there, some of those two-wheelers go too. Sending a company bike is not very different from sending a personal one, but the papers, the invoice and the loading spot need a little more thought on a road that's busy from morning to night.
Company bikes and whose name is on the papers
Start with the registration certificates. Some business bikes are registered to the firm, some to the owner personally, and some to an employee who was given an allowance to buy one. Each of those travels with slightly different paperwork.
If the firm owns the bike, send a photocopy of the RC with a short letter on the company's letterhead authorising the move, signed by someone who can sign for the firm, plus a copy of that person's ID.
If the owner owns it personally, it's the usual set: a copy of the RC, a copy of the owner's ID, and the owner's signed note if someone else is handing it over.
If an employee owns it, the employee should sign for it, even though the business is paying. That keeps the bike's papers in line with the person who will ride it in the new city.
Originals stay with the business or the owner. Keep them in the office safe and post them to the new branch separately if the riders will need them there.
Invoices and paying for the move
A business usually wants the cost in its own books. Ask for the invoice in the firm's name with its GST number, and say so at booking. Correcting an invoice afterwards is more paperwork for both sides.
If several bikes are going, ask for each one on its own line with its registration number. Your accounts team will thank you, and it makes it easy to check later that every bike arrived.
The price comes after a free survey. For a small fleet, a short video showing each bike is usually enough. Once the figure is in writing, it doesn't change.
If the move is being paid by a franchise head office or a parent company, confirm whose name goes on the invoice before booking. It's a common source of last-minute confusion.
For a business that moves bikes regularly between branches, keep a simple register: registration number, rider, branch and date. It makes the next move faster to book, and it answers the accountant's questions at year end without anyone digging through old invoices.
Loading on a busy road
Neeladri Road is busy for most of the day, with buses, autos, delivery riders and customers parking outside shops. A long carrier can't stop just anywhere, so plan the loading spot with us in advance.
Early morning, before the shops open, is by far the easiest time. The road is quieter, the kerb is free and there's space to wrap the bikes without customers stepping round them.
If there's a side road or an open plot near the shop where a carrier can stand, mention it. A short ride from the shop to that spot is much better than loading in traffic.
Have the bikes lined up and ready, keys in hand, before the crew arrives. With several bikes, the photos and wrapping take time, and a bike still out on a delivery holds everyone up.
Tell the neighbouring shops the evening before. Shared frontages are precious on Neeladri Road, and a truck parked across someone's shutter at opening time isn't how you want to leave the area.
If the shop has its own small loading bay or a back gate, that's often the calmest place of all.
Scooty shifting for delivery fleets
Delivery scooters are the bulk of most small fleets. Each one travels on the carrier exactly as any two-wheeler does, wrapped, padded and strapped upright, and scooters usually cost a little less than motorcycles.
Take the delivery boxes off the back before pickup. They're usually bolted to a rack, they're bulky, and they're far safer packed separately. Leave the rack on if it's fixed to the frame.
Empty every seat box. Delivery scooters collect receipt books, spare change, rain covers and the occasional forgotten order.
Note the condition of each scooter honestly. Fleet scooters work hard and carry plenty of scrapes; the crew photographs every one before wrapping, and the branch manager at the other end should compare against those photos.
If any scooter in the fleet isn't running, tell us. It can still travel, as long as it rolls and the key is there.
Fleet scooters often carry the business's branding on the side panels or the delivery box. That's fine on the carrier. If the new branch trades under a different name, peel or cover old stickers before the bikes are ridden there, rather than in the street outside the shop.
Bike transport from Neeladri Road to a new branch
Branch openings in Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune or Kochi are straightforward from Electronic City, since trucks run there constantly. A franchise outlet in a smaller town may mean waiting for a vehicle heading that way. Plan the bikes' arrival around the shop's opening date, and we'll confirm whether it fits when we quote.
Make sure someone at the new branch can receive the bikes: the branch manager, with the photos and a list of registration numbers. Delivery to a shop that hasn't opened yet is fine, as long as someone with authority is there to sign.
Drain the tanks down beforehand, since fuel is emptied before loading. For a full office or shop fit-out moving with the bikes, see our Electronic City Phase 1 packers page.
