What moves the price up or down
No two moves cost the same — but the reasons are simple and we share them upfront. The quote you approve after the survey is the amount you pay, with every add-on itemised.
Within the same neighbourhood costs less than a cross-city shift. Intercity moves are priced by route and load, not just kilometres.
The truck size and crew count follow your home size — a 1 BHK fits a small tempo, a villa needs a full truck and a bigger team.
Ground floor with a service lift is fastest. Walk-ups above the second floor add carry time, which adds crew hours.
Full packing (we pack everything) costs more than transport-only. Most families pick full packing for the kitchen and fragile items at least.
Month-ends, weekends, and the summer season are peak. Mid-week and mid-month dates are consistently cheaper.
Storage, transit insurance, appliance dismantling, and vehicle transport are add-ons — each is quoted upfront, never sprung on moving day.
The tech-park heart of Whitefield
Packers and movers in ITPL work the busiest corner of the whole Whitefield belt. The International Tech Park pulls a huge daytime crowd off Whitefield Main Road, and the housing that's grown up around it, out toward Pattandur Agrahara and the Hoodi side, is mostly gated communities and tower apartments built for exactly that workforce. So the typical customer here isn't a long-settled family, it's someone who came for a job and shifts flats every couple of years.
That gives the work a particular shape. Most of it is society moves, a booked service lift, a gate pass listing the truck registration, an approved slot inside the association's move-in hours. We're inside these complexes most weeks so tell us which one you're in and we'll tell you what the security desk will ask for, the NOC, the lift slip, ID copies for the crew. You send a couple of documents across and the gate stops being the thing you worry about on the morning.
One thing worth saying about ITPL, the calendar drives everything. A lot of these moves land on joining dates or notice-period exits, which means weekends fill fast and month-end is the busiest of all. And because so many residents work inside the park itself, there's a steady stream of office relocations mixed in with the household ones.
Beating the Whitefield Main Road rush
ITPL traffic is predictable in the worst way. The stretch of Whitefield Main Road past the tech park and the Hope Farm side clogs from mid-morning on weekdays and stays that way till the office crowd clears at night, and a loaded truck stuck in that isn't slow, it's money standing still. So we pack early and get the vehicle out before the commuters fill the road, which usually has a corridor move unloading by early afternoon.
The Purple Line metro running through Whitefield has shifted the pattern a bit too. People scout their next flat by train now and move on the weekend, which is sensible, only Saturdays near month-end go first because the whole belt's leases turn over together. If your society allows a move on any day, a weekday morning is quieter and usually a touch cheaper.
For moves that stay inside the belt, over to Hoodi, Kundalahalli or Brookefield, it's a short same-day job once the timing is right. Out here the distance is rarely the problem, the junction and the hour are.
What an ITPL move costs
The city ranges apply, ₹4,000 to ₹9,000 for a 1 BHK, ₹6,000 to ₹15,000 for a 2 BHK, and ₹9,000 to ₹25,000 for a 3 BHK, moving with the floor, the lift and how much of the packing you hand us. A short hop within the Whitefield belt keeps you low in the ranges. A move right across the city climbs from there.
Access is what really moves the number, not distance. A flat with a booked service lift empties quickly however much is in it, while a shared lift that three other households are also using on move-in day drags the whole thing out, and that's what shows on the bill. It's why we survey before quoting, on video or in person, then put the figure in writing that the GST invoice matches line for line.
And if you're relocating an office out of one of the park's buildings, that's sized separately, over a walk-through rather than a phone guess, because the after-hours access and the IT gear change the plan completely.
Leaving the belt, or storing in between
A fair share of the intercity moves we run out here start around ITPL, mostly people transferring for work to Hyderabad, Chennai or Pune. Most of them leave before breakfast so the truck's clear of the city before the office crowd fills the roads, and being on this side means reaching the eastern highways through Hoskote without crawling across town first.
Sometimes the new flat's keys don't line up with the day you hand over the old one, that's common on joining-date moves where the timing isn't yours to set. When it happens we hold your things, packed and listed, in storage for as long as you need and bring them out when you're ready. The same crew keeps track of it from pickup to delivery, so nothing changes hands halfway through.
Moving in ITPL: what helps, what hurts
Works in your favour
- Gated communities near the park mostly have working service lifts and defined move-in procedures
- Dense crew coverage across the Whitefield belt makes weekday and Sunday slots realistic
- Purple Line metro makes it easy to view the next flat and plan the move early
- Short corridor moves to Hoodi, Kundalahalli and Brookefield finish the same day
- Office relocations inside the tech park can be scheduled around building access hours
Plan around these
- Whitefield Main Road past the park clogs by mid-morning; loaded trucks want to be clear early
- Shared service lifts on move-in day can bottleneck a tower move if they aren't booked ahead
- Weekend and joining-date slots near month-end fill first as the belt's leases turn over together
- Society move windows can be tight if you've a big house to shift in a fixed slot
ITPL moving tips from our crews
Book the service lift the day you fix your date
Most ITPL-area societies want the lift reserved a couple of days out, sometimes against a deposit. Sort it when you settle the moving date, not the evening before, because deliveries compete for the same slot.
Tell us your society so we clear the gate ahead
We're in these complexes most weeks. Give us the name and we'll tell you what the desk needs — NOC, lift slip, ID copies — so the crew isn't stuck at security on the day.
Go for a weekday morning if your slot allows it
It keeps you ahead of the Whitefield Main Road rush, the crew's working before it gets hot, and mid-week is quieter and usually a bit cheaper than the month-end weekend scramble.
Flag a joining-date move early
If your date is fixed by an offer letter and the new flat isn't ready, tell us at the survey. We'll plan storage in between rather than scramble for it the week you shift.
Agreewel vs other movers in ITPL
Search for movers around ITPL and you'll turn up three sorts, companies like us that run our own crews, small local operators around Hoodi and Kundalahalli, and the app aggregators that pass your booking to whoever's free that day. Any of them can do a fine job on a good day. Where they come apart is the tower move, the trouble almost always shows up at the gate on the day itself, which is about the worst time to be sorting a lift booking out.

Moving in ITPL, answered
The questions every ITPLcustomer asks — and if yours isn't here, a real person picks up the phone.
For a local move you're looking at roughly ₹4,000–9,000 for a 1 BHK, ₹6,000–15,000 for a 2 BHK and ₹9,000–25,000 for a 3 BHK, depending on the floor, the lift and how much packing you want done. Staying inside the Whitefield belt keeps you at the lower end. You'll have a firm figure in writing once we've surveyed.
Yes, and near ITPL it's the thing people ask us about most. We'll tell you what your society wants, you send the documents over, and our supervisor has the lift booked and the gate cleared before the truck turns up. We do it week in, week out.
That's most of what we do here, honestly. The tech crowd moves on notice-period exits and offer-letter start dates, so weekends and month-end are our busiest windows. Book a Saturday a week or two ahead near month-end, and if the dates don't line up we'll bridge the gap with storage.
We do. Office moves out of the ITPL buildings get their own walk-through because the after-hours access, the lift rules and the IT equipment all change the plan. We size it properly, agree the window with building management, and quote in writing the same as a home move.
Early on a weekday. We pack from around seven and get the truck loaded before Whitefield Main Road seizes up, so the hours your society allows go on actual carrying. Saturdays work too, just book them ahead near month-end when the whole belt is shifting at once.
Yes, most months. Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai and Delhi NCR are all regular runs, packed for the distance, GPS-tracked, with a delivery date agreed before we load. We pick up from your building the same as any local move, and the society paperwork is on us.
