Packers and movers in Kaggalipura are working right at the southern tail of the city, well past the built-up part of Kanakapura Road, out where Bangalore loosens into plotted layouts, new gated projects and stretches that still look half-rural between the houses. Thalaghattapura sits just up the road and the Bannerghatta side is over to the east, but the feel out here is edge-of-town rather than suburb. The moving reflects that. NICE Road, and getting ahead of the traffic

What Kaggalipura gives up in distance from the city it partly wins back in road links. The NICE Road runs close by, and for a move heading west or toward the airport side, that peripheral link saves crawling through the whole of the south first. Kanakapura Road itself is the other artery, widened for much of the run now, so the truck moves well until it hits the busier stretch nearer Konanakunte and the metro end.

For anything heading into the city we load early and take the run before Kanakapura Road thickens up on the approach to the JP Nagar side. That stretch fills through the morning and a loaded truck stuck in it just burns the day, so packing from around seven is half the plan out here.

Inside the newer layouts the usual outskirts caveat holds. Some approach roads aren't finished, so the surveyor sizes the vehicle for the road as much as for the house.

What a Kaggalipura move costs

Access sets the number more than the map does. The other honest point is crews. There are fewer movers based this far south than in the inner suburbs, so a short-notice slot wants a bit more lead time than it would in, say, Jayanagar. A couple of days more notice and we can put the right vehicle and crew on your date without a scramble.

And on a long city haul the weather's worth a thought. Your things can be on the road for hours from out here, so on a wet day we box the electronics last and load them where they stay dry and come off first at the other end.
