The honest thing to say up front, Bommasandra is a real distance from the main city, so a household haul into Bangalore proper is a long day. We plan around that rather than discovering the drive halfway through.

Moving around a shift roster

The residential projects we're booked into here are Shriram Sapphire, DSR Clippers City, Svamitva Emerald Square and Habulus Tranquil on the gated side, along with Habulus Oasis Grove, JR Greenpark Lakefront, Abhee Serenity Springs, SS South Crest, DS Max Silver Wood, Gowri Ideal Homes, Kataria Residency and SSI Reviva. A lot of the people living in them work the estate on the doorstep, and that shows up in how moves get scheduled here.

Shift work makes the usual advice awkward. Telling somebody on nights to be up for a seven o'clock start isn't advice, it's just inconvenient, and a partner who's on days can't always take leave to cover it. So we're used to fitting around a roster: packing done in one window, loading in another, and where the society permits it, a later start than we'd normally push for.

What Bommasandra gives back for its distance is the Hosur Road and NH corridor, right on the doorstep. For anything heading south, Hosur, Salem, Krishnagiri, Chennai-side, the truck's on the open highway quickly instead of fighting back through town. Southern intercity loads out of here are among the cleaner runs we do.

Heading the other way, into Electronic City or the main city, the catch is the morning crawl. The Hosur Road stretch backs up toward Electronic City at the office peak, and a loaded truck caught in it loses real time, so we load early and take the run before it thickens. The elevated stretch helps once you're on it, but getting there ahead of the queue is half the plan.

Inside the newer layouts the usual outskirts caveat applies, some approach roads aren't finished, so the surveyor sizes the vehicle for the road as much as the house.

What a Bommasandra move costs

For a local household shift within Bommasandra and the nearby belt the city ranges roughly apply, ₹4,000 to ₹9,000 for a 1 BHK, ₹6,000 to ₹15,000 for a 2 BHK, and ₹9,000 to ₹25,000 for a 3 BHK, with floor, access and packing moving the number. A haul into the main city carries the distance, and we price that openly rather than tucking it away in a vague total.

Industrial and factory relocations are quoted their own way, on a proper site survey, because the machinery, the handling gear and the timing are nothing like a house move. Either way the rule holds, one written figure after the survey, and a GST invoice that matches it, whether it's for your own records or a company's books.

Factory work, first moves, and storage

The industrial side is steady here given the estate on the doorstep. Units relocate, expand or consolidate, and those are on-site surveyed jobs with the right gear, planned timing, and full documentation, including the interstate paperwork where a load crosses toward Tamil Nadu. We treat them as the projects they are, not oversized house moves.

On the residential side, first move-ins run ahead of possession often enough that storage matters. We hold your things packed and inventoried until the place is ready, then deliver with the same crew tracking it from pickup to door.
