The Full Picture

What a full home shift actually involves

A house move is really a lot of small jobs stacked on top of each other, and the packing is the one that decides how the rest of the day goes. Our crew arrives with all the materials, cartons, bubble wrap, foam sheets, tape, and packs room by room so nothing's mixed up. Every carton gets labelled with the room it belongs to, which is what lets us set things down in the right place at the new house instead of leaving you a hallway full of unmarked boxes.

The furniture is the other half of it. Beds, wardrobes and modular units come apart properly, each fitting bagged and taped to its own piece, and go back together at the other end. Whether it's a 1 RK or a full villa, it's the same one crew from your door to the new one, so there's no handing your things between teams halfway through.

The bits people worry about

Fragiles are what most people fret over, and fairly so. Crockery, glass, mirrors and electronics get double-boxed and cushioned, the TV and any glass tops crated or corner-guarded. We'd rather spend the extra ten minutes wrapping than explain a chip later.

Then there's the building itself. If your society wants a gate pass, a service-lift booking or a move-out slot, tell us when you book and we'll have it sorted before the truck turns up, so the crew's carrying boxes instead of waiting at the security desk. And if you've got a three-door wardrobe or an L-shaped sofa that won't fit a lift, flag it at the survey, we'll plan the disassembly or the stair-carry rather than work it out on the landing.

Optional transit insurance is there if you want the cover, and for a full house it's usually worth the small addition.

A firm quote, and no moving-day surprises

Every home shift starts with a free survey, on video or in person, because the honest price depends on how much you've got, how much packing you want us to do, and the floors and lifts at both ends. Off that we put one figure in writing, and that figure is what you pay. No re-count at the far end, no surprise line for the flight of stairs nobody mentioned, and every add-on itemised on a proper GST invoice.

Move less: what to sort before packing day

The cheapest way to make a move smaller is to move less of it, and it's worth a weekend before the crew arrives. Anything you've not touched in a year, the duplicate kitchen gadgets, the clothes that no longer fit, the furniture that won't suit the new place, is better sold, given away or binned than boxed and carried. We're happy to say at the survey what's genuinely worth moving and what'll cost more to transport than to replace.

A few things shouldn't go on a household truck at all. Gas cylinders, paint, anything flammable and perishable food are best emptied or given away beforehand, and large plants are fragile travellers that don't love a long, hot day in a truck. Tell us what you've got and we'll flag whatever needs handling differently, so nothing turns into a problem on the day.

FAQ

Home Shifting, answered

The questions people ask most about home shifting — and if yours isn't here, a real person picks up the phone.

A local house shift usually runs around ₹4,000–9,000 for a 1 BHK, ₹6,000–15,000 for a 2 BHK and ₹9,000–25,000 for a 3 BHK, depending on floor access, the lift, and how much packing you want done. You get a firm figure in writing after a free survey — that's what you pay.

A 1 or 2 BHK local shift nearly always is — packed in the morning, set up by evening with beds reassembled and cartons in the right rooms. A larger home or a long-distance move can run into a second day, and we'll tell you which to expect before you book.

Yes, the crew arrives with everything — cartons, bubble wrap, foam, tape and covers — included in the quote. You don't need to source a single box yourself.

We do. Beds, wardrobes and modular units come apart for the move and go back together at the new house, with each fitting bagged and labelled so nothing goes missing. Mention any large or built-in pieces at the survey so we plan for them.

Optional transit insurance is available and, for a full house, usually worth it. We'll explain the cover at the survey so you can decide — it sits on top of the quote as a small add-on.
