InstantWhere are you moving?
Costs you nothing and there's no salesperson at the end of it.
Book the packing without booking the move, or take both. The crew arrives with all the material, works room by room with labelled cartons, and on the unpacking visit puts things into the cupboards and takes every empty carton and all the waste away with them.

Not everybody wants the whole move handled. Plenty of people have the transport sorted already, a friend with a tempo or a company-paid truck, and what they actually want is somebody who will pack the house properly so nothing arrives in three pieces. You can book that on its own here, the packing does not have to come attached to the moving.
The crew arrives with all the material, works through the house room by room, and leaves you a labelled set of cartons standing ready to load. If you want us to load them too we will, but it is not a condition of taking the packing.
How a room actually gets packed
We start on the rooms you are least likely to need before moving day. Spare bedroom and the store room go first, kitchen and bathroom go last, which means you are still living normally in the flat while three quarters of it is already boxed. Every carton carries the room it came from and a short note of what is inside, and that one habit is what makes the unpacking quick instead of a treasure hunt.
Crockery gets wrapped piece by piece and packed standing upright rather than stacked flat. A plate on its edge takes a knock that a stack of eight will not.
Kitchens take the longest and they always will. There is more in them than anyone expects and a good part of it is either breakable or half full of something, so we book proper hours for that room instead of squeezing it in at the end of a long day. Wardrobes go faster than they look — hanging clothes travel in tall cartons still on their hangers, so they come out the other end ready to go straight back on a rail.
Unpacking is the half most people leave off
Unpacking is the bit that gets dropped from the booking to save a little money, and then regretted around day four when the living room still has fourteen cartons in it and nobody can find the mixer. If you do take it, the crew comes back, opens up room by room, puts things onto the shelves and into the cupboards where you actually want them, and carries every empty carton away when they leave.
That last part is worth more than it sounds. A three-bedroom flat produces an awkward mountain of cardboard and stretch film, and most societies in Bangalore will not let you park it next to the bins for the housekeeping staff to sort out. It goes out on the same visit, which keeps you on good terms with the association in your first week there.
What the price depends on
Packing is quoted on volume and on how much of the volume is fragile, not on a flat figure per room, because two flats of identical size can be very different days of work. A house heavy on crockery, glassware, framed art and electronics takes longer and eats more material than one that is mostly furniture and clothes.
So we survey first, free, on video or in person, and the written quote comes after that. Material is inside the number, the cartons and the bubble wrap are not going to reappear as extras on moving day, and you get a GST invoice for it. If you are taking only the packing and handling your own transport, tell us at the survey and we will price only that.
Agreewel vs other packing & unpacking options
Packing is where most of the damage in a move either happens or does not, and it is also the easiest part of the job to do cheaply and badly. Here is how the three routes people usually consider actually differ.
| What to check | Agreewel | Packing-only labour crews | Doing it yourself |
|---|---|---|---|
| Material quality | Corrugated cartons, bubble wrap, foam and stretch film, included | Often reused cartons, material billed on top | Whatever the kirana shop has that week |
| Labelling | Room and contents on every carton | Sometimes numbered, rarely detailed | Good intentions on day one, marker lost by day two |
| Fragile handling | Wrapped individually, packed upright, cushioned corners | Depends entirely on the crew you get | The usual cause of the one broken thing |
| Carton disposal | Taken away on the unpacking visit | Left with you | Your problem for a fortnight |
| Pricing | Surveyed, then one written quote on GST | Per-head day rate that grows if it runs late | Cheap on paper, costs a weekend |

Packing & Unpacking, answered
The questions people ask most about packing & unpacking — and if yours isn't here, a real person picks up the phone.
Yes, and a fair few people do. Tell us at the survey that transport is already arranged and we will quote the packing alone, materials included. The crew packs, labels and stacks everything ready to load, and where you want it loaded as well we can do that part too.
It follows the volume and how much of it is breakable, so a two-bedroom flat full of glassware costs more to pack than a larger one that is mostly furniture. We would rather survey it than throw a number at you over the phone, and after the survey you get one firm figure in writing with the material inside it.
We do, and it is part of the quote rather than a separate bill on the day. That means corrugated cartons in a few sizes, bubble wrap, foam sheet, stretch film and tape. If a piece needs something out of the ordinary, a crate for a large mirror say, we flag that at the survey so it is priced honestly.
A 1 or 2 BHK is usually a single day. Three bedrooms and up often runs to a day and a half, and if you want the kitchen done carefully rather than fast it can be two. We would rather tell you that at the survey than surprise you on the second evening.
Into the cupboards, if that is what you want. The crew works room by room, places things where you point, reassembles what was taken apart, and clears out the empty cartons and the waste when they go. Some people prefer we only do the kitchen and the bedrooms and leave the rest, that is fine too.
Those are the items the service exists for. Screens get foam and a corner-protected carton, mirrors and glass tops get wrapped and edge-protected, crockery is wrapped individually and packed on its edge. Optional transit insurance on declared value is available if you want cover on top of careful handling.
