What moves the price up or down

No two moves cost the same — but the reasons are simple and we share them upfront. The quote you approve after the survey is the amount you pay, with every add-on itemised.

Within the same neighbourhood costs less than a cross-city shift. Intercity moves are priced by route and load, not just kilometres.

The truck size and crew count follow your home size — a 1 BHK fits a small tempo, a villa needs a full truck and a bigger team.

Ground floor with a service lift is fastest. Walk-ups above the second floor add carry time, which adds crew hours.

Full packing (we pack everything) costs more than transport-only. Most families pick full packing for the kitchen and fragile items at least.

Month-ends, weekends, and the summer season are peak. Mid-week and mid-month dates are consistently cheaper.

Storage, transit insurance, appliance dismantling, and vehicle transport are add-ons — each is quoted upfront, never sprung on moving day.

Local Moving Guide

Where Whitefield ends and Kadugodi begins

Kadugodi used to be where the city just ran out, the tree park, the railway crossing, the last stretch of Whitefield Road before Bangalore let go. Then the Purple Line terminus turned up, and with it a wave of renters and buyers who worked out that the end of the metro line is where things get affordable. Packers and movers in Kadugodi now spend most of their time on exactly that wave, families moving out of pricier Whitefield addresses and newcomers making Kadugodi their first Bangalore home.

The housing mix is wide. The established pockets near the main road have apartment blocks with lifts and gates. Push into Belathur or the newer layouts off the Whitefield–Hoskote stretch and you're into self-built territory, rented floors, new independent houses, lanes at every stage of being finished. Some approach roads are still waiting on their first coat of asphalt. So our surveys here pay as much attention to the street as they do to the sofa.

None of that makes Kadugodi hard to move in. It just makes it a place where the local knowledge is the actual service, knowing which lane takes what vehicle, where the railway crossing backs up, and which new layouts turn to mud after a couple of days of rain.

The crossing, the terminal and truck timing

Kadugodi's traffic has three sides to it, the Whitefield Road spine feeding the tech offices, the level-crossing and station-side congestion, and the lorry traffic edging toward the Hoskote warehouse belt. Weekday mornings the spine runs slow toward ITPL, and evenings it's slow both ways.

Our standard Kadugodi play is the same early start we use across the belt, packed by 7, loaded by 9, with one local addition. We route around the railway crossing wherever the drop point allows, because a closed gate can hold a queue long enough to unravel the whole schedule. Short moves toward Whitefield, Hoodi and Channasandra finish the same day easily.

Kadugodi moving costs, honestly

Kadugodi is one of the gentler areas in East Bangalore on the budget. Homes tend to be smaller and newer, the carries are short in the apartment pockets, and the lower bands of the table do most of the work: ₹2,500–6,000 for a 1 RK, ₹4,000–9,000 for a 1 BHK, ₹6,000–15,000 for a 2 BHK. What lifts a quote here is nearly always the access, an unfinished lane that needs a tempo shuttle, or an upper floor with no lift.

Two things stay fixed whatever the job. The survey's free (video works, just show us the street), and the figure you approve is the figure on the GST invoice. In a fast-growing area full of first-time customers, we know the quote is also the trust test, so we treat it like one.

In and out of Kadugodi

Inbound moves dominate at the moment, into the new layouts from Whitefield, Marathahalli and further out, plus fresh arrivals from other cities picking the terminus end of the Purple Line. Going the other way, the short hops run to Whitefield, Hoodi and Kadubeesanahalli as jobs and families shift around the belt.

For intercity, Kadugodi's spot on the Whitefield–Hoskote stretch is a quiet advantage, the trucks join the NH corridor at Hoskote without ever going into the city. Chennai and Hyderabad runs load here and go straight onto the highway. All the usual terms come with them, export-grade packing, GPS tracking, and a delivery window in writing before the truck leaves your lane.

The Honest Picture

Moving in Kadugodi: what helps, what hurts

Works in your favour

  • Among the most affordable moves in the Whitefield belt — smaller homes, shorter carries
  • The metro terminus makes scouting and moving-week logistics simple for newcomers
  • Direct Hoskote access puts intercity trucks on the highway without crossing the city
  • Apartment pockets near the main road have lifts and gates — quick, predictable loads

Plan around these

  • Some new-layout approach roads are unpaved and turn slushy after rain
  • The railway level-crossing can hold traffic long enough to dent a tight schedule
  • Newer lanes often lack workable truck access, making tempo shuttles common
  • Evening lorry traffic toward the Hoskote belt slows the main road both ways

Kadugodi moving tips from our crews

01

Show us the street on the survey call

Kadugodi quotes live and die on lane access. Pan the camera from your gate down the road — ten seconds of video saves an hour of moving-day improvisation.

02

New layout? Check the rain plan

If your lane is unpaved and the forecast is wet, ask us about shifting the slot a day or shuttling from the nearest paved road. Mud costs more time than the crossing ever does.

03

Route around the crossing

Tell us which side of the railway line both addresses sit on. If the truck can stay on one side, we plan it that way — a closed gate at the wrong moment is Kadugodi's classic delay.

04

Arriving from another city? Land goods after keys

For inbound intercity moves, we can hold your goods in storage and deliver the day after you take possession — smoother than a truck idling outside while paperwork finishes.

Agreewel vs other movers in Kadugodi

Kadugodi's moving market is growing about as fast as the area itself, and the quality's uneven. Established companies serve it from the Whitefield side, the aggregator apps hand it to whoever bids, and new local operators pop up every season. In a neighbourhood where half the customers are moving in for the first time, knowing what to check matters more here than just about anywhere else in the belt.

FAQ

Moving in Kadugodi, answered

The questions every Kadugodicustomer asks — and if yours isn't here, a real person picks up the phone.

Usually the friendlier end of Bangalore's ranges: ₹2,500–6,000 for a 1 RK, ₹4,000–9,000 for a 1 BHK, ₹6,000–15,000 for a 2 BHK locally. Unpaved-lane shuttles or lift-less upper floors are what push a quote up. You get one written figure after a free survey, and it holds.

Maybe, and if it can't, we shuttle with a tempo from the nearest solid road, planned and priced at the survey. It's routine in Kadugodi's newer layouts. What we won't do is bury a loaded truck in soft ground and call it your problem.

Every month. The terminus end of the metro is a popular landing spot. We run inbound moves from Chennai, Hyderabad and the other metros with GPS tracking, and we can hold your goods in storage until you've got keys, then deliver to your lane with a local crew.

With a 7 am start, a 1–2 BHK is usually unloading before noon and set up by evening. It's one of the shortest routes we run. Even a 3 BHK across the belt fits in a day when both ends are prepared.

It can, which is why we ask which side of the line both addresses are on and route to stay on one side where we can. When crossing it is unavoidable, we schedule so a closed gate costs minutes, not the morning.

Two or three days for weekday locals, and small moves can often go next-day since our Whitefield-belt crews work nearby daily. Month-end weekends tighten first, so book those a week or more ahead.
