Bike Shifting in JP Nagar 8th Phase
The first question nearly everyone in JP Nagar 8th Phase asks is what it will cost. It's a fair question, and the honest answer is that we don't publish a rate card for bikes, because the same bike can cost quite different amounts depending on where it's going and how it gets onto the carrier.
Price your Bangalore move before anyone calls you.
Put in the two addresses and the size of the home. You get a worked-out range on screen, itemised the same way the final quote will be — and nobody rings you for it.

InstantWhere are you moving?
Costs you nothing and there's no salesperson at the end of it.
What we can do is explain what moves the number, so the quote makes sense when you see it. Once you know the handful of things that matter, you can usually guess which end of the range you'll be at before we've even looked at the bike.
The route is most of the price
Where the bike is going matters more than anything else. A move across Bangalore is a short, same-day job. A move to Chennai or Hyderabad shares a carrier with other bikes on a route that runs often, which keeps it reasonable. A move to a small town off the main highways can cost more, because a vehicle has to be found that's heading that way.
So the first thing to tell us is the full destination, town and pin code. The state alone isn't enough. Two places in the same state can be very different trips, one on a main highway with carriers passing every week, the other a hill town reached by a single winding road.
Timing plays a smaller part, but it's worth knowing about. Month-end and festival weeks are busier, and if you're flexible by a few days you'll usually find it easier to get the date you want.
Distance within Bangalore barely matters by comparison. Whether the bike is going to Jayanagar or to Whitefield, a local move is a local move, and what changes the effort is the access at each end, which is the next thing to look at.
The bike, the access and the extras
Scooters come in under motorcycles on any given route, being lighter and smaller on the carrier. A heavy cruiser, a sports bike with fairings or a vintage machine may need extra padding on the tank and bodywork, which you can ask for at booking.
Access is the next thing, and in 8th Phase it varies more than in the older phases. JP Nagar 8th Phase is the newer edge of JP Nagar, pushing out towards Kothnur Dinne and Jambusavari Dinne, and while the newer main roads are wide, some pockets are still unpaved or narrow. A bike at a villa gate on a finished road is quick to load. A bike that has to be wheeled out of a developing lane, or brought up from a basement, takes a little more handling.
A bike that won't start needs pushing rather than riding, and one that's been standing for months may need more care, a seized brake freed or flat tyres pumped. Tell us at booking and it's in the quote from the start rather than a surprise on the morning.
Transit cover is your choice, and what it costs depends on the value you put on the bike. Owners of older commuters often go without. On a newer or pricier bike, ask us what it would add.
What doesn't change the price
Fuel in the tank, for a start. It's drained before loading either way, so a full tank only costs you money.
Nor does the make of the bike on its own. A popular commuter and an equally sized bike from a less common brand cost the same to send. What matters is size and weight, and whether it needs extra padding, which only really comes up with big, faired or vintage machines.
Cleaning it doesn't change the price, though a clean bike makes the pickup photos much more useful, and that's worth more than it sounds if a question ever comes up at delivery.
The paperwork doesn't add anything either. A photocopied registration and ID card are all the crew needs, and if the bike isn't in your name, a short signed letter from the owner. None of that is charged.
And the price doesn't change on the day. Once we've seen the bike, free, on a video call or at the gate, the amount we write down is the amount on the GST invoice. Nobody adds a charge at the gate because the lane was narrower than expected, which is exactly why we look at the lane first.
Scooty shifting costs from JP Nagar 8th Phase
Scooters are the cheaper end of bike transport on any route. They're lighter, easier to load, and quicker to wrap. Cheaper doesn't mean less care. A scooter is photographed, padded where it sticks out, wrapped and tied down upright exactly as a motorcycle is.
Sending a scooter and a motorcycle to one address? Both can ride the one carrier, so ask for a single quote covering the pair. Two going to different places are two trips.
Clear the seat box before pickup and take off anything clipped on. It doesn't change the price, but it saves time on the day.
Bike and two wheeler transport routes from 8th Phase
From here, the carrier joins Bannerghatta Road or cuts across to Kanakapura Road, and both are heavy at the morning peak. Collections are early. For Mysuru-side and southern trips, the NICE Road side keeps the carrier out of the centre. For the north and east, the first hour decides the day.
Chennai and Hyderabad have frequent departures, Kerala is a regular run, and the delivery date is committed before loading on all of them, so you can plan the other end with confidence.
If the household is moving too, adding the bike to the furniture truck as one more line often beats booking it on its own, and the JP Nagar 8th Phase packers page covers the house.
