Bike Transport Services in Narayanapura
Narayanapura, in Mahadevapura between KR Puram, Hoodi and Kaggadasapura, is close to some of the biggest tech campuses on the eastern side of Bangalore. When a company relocates a team or closes an office, several colleagues from the same apartment complex or the same PG can find themselves moving to the same city in the same month.

Moving bikes as a group makes sense. One pickup, one truck, a coordinated arrival. But each bike still has its own owner, papers and condition, and a little organisation keeps the group booking from turning into a tangle.
Organising the group and the pickup
Pick one person to coordinate: someone who'll talk to us, collect everyone's details and pass on the dates. One point of contact saves a lot of confusion.
Collect each person's details in one list: name, phone number, bike model, registration number, pickup address and delivery address. A shared document works well.
Agree a pickup date that suits everyone. If people are leaving on different days, the bikes can still be collected on one morning, as long as each owner hands theirs over or leaves the key with someone.
Ask for one quote for the whole group, with each bike on its own line. That makes it easy to share the cost fairly, or to send separate invoices if the company is reimbursing each person.
Narayanapura has apartment complexes, PGs and older streets, with narrow lanes in places. A carrier usually stops on a wider road towards Mahadevapura's main roads or Old Madras Road, and the bikes are ridden out to it one by one.
For a group, choose a single meeting point that suits everyone, ideally the entrance of one apartment complex or a wide road nearby. Several bikes arriving at once go quickly.
Early mornings work best, before the ORR and Old Madras Road fill.
Tell each building's security that bikes are leaving on a carrier, especially in gated complexes.
Set a deadline for the shared list. Groups always have one person who sends their details on the morning of the pickup, and it holds everyone up.
If someone drops out, because their plans changed or they decided to sell, tell us as soon as you know. It changes the quote and the crew's plan.
Pick a pickup morning that isn't the same day as anyone's flight. People flying out are distracted, and bikes are easier to hand over the day before.
Give the crew a printed copy of the shared list too. At seven in the morning, a sheet of paper with names, plates and phone numbers is faster than scrolling through a chat.
Separate papers for each bike
Group or not, every bike's paperwork stays separate: that bike's RC copy, its owner's ID copy, and a permission letter if a teammate is releasing it. One envelope each, the plate number marked clearly in pen.
The crew photographs each bike separately before wrapping. Each owner should see their own bike's photos and keep copies.
At the destination, each owner receives and signs for their own bike. If someone can't be there, they nominate a colleague, with a signed note.
Don't mix keys. Tag each key with its bike's registration number before handing it over.
Ask each owner to check their own RC, insurance and pollution certificate dates. In a group, it's tempting to assume someone else checked. Nobody did.
Company relocations and reimbursement
If the company is paying, ask HR what they need: a single invoice for the group, separate invoices per employee, or a reimbursement claim with a receipt. Tell us at booking.
Some relocation policies cover one vehicle per employee; some cover a car or a bike, not both. Check yours before assuming the bike is included.
If the move is part of an office closure, timing may be tight. Book as soon as the dates are known.
Keep copies of all the paperwork, both personally and in the group's shared folder.
If the company has a relocation partner that handles household goods, ask whether bikes are included in that contract. Sometimes they are, sometimes they're excluded and employees book separately. Either way, the quote should be clear about who pays what.
If the company is reimbursing, keep the photos and the delivery confirmation as well as the invoice. Some finance teams ask for proof that the bike actually arrived before they pay.
Scooty shifting for a group
Groups usually include a mix of scooters and motorcycles. A scooter on the truck is protected like any bike and is the cheaper option.
Every scooter owner should clear their own seat box. In a group pickup, nobody has time to sort out whose things are whose.
A teammate whose scooter has died since the shuttle took over can still send it, provided the wheels turn and the key turns up. Flag it on the shared list.
If two colleagues share a scooter, decide whose it is before booking. A shared scooter with two would-be owners is the kind of problem that's easier to settle over coffee in Narayanapura than over messages from two different cities.
Each scooter owner should also photograph their own scooter at pickup, on their own phone. In a group, the crew's photos are shared, but personal copies are reassuring.
Agree who keeps the spare keys. Some groups post them together to one address at the destination; others carry their own. Decide before the pickup.
Bike transport from Narayanapura to the new city
Team relocations from the eastern tech belt usually go to big cities, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Gurugram, which are easy to schedule. A smaller city takes more arranging, and the group gets one arrival date when you book.
At the far end, agree a single delivery point if most of the group lives near each other, or separate addresses if not. Tell us which.
Each rider should run their tank low; fuel is drained from every bike before loading. One free survey, by video for each bike, and one written quote with GST and a line per bike. For household moves, see our Mahadevapura packers page.
If one or two people in the group are heading to a different city, they can still join the pickup. Their bikes are loaded with the others and routed separately.
After delivery, ask everyone to confirm in the group chat that their bike has arrived and been checked. The coordinator's job ends when the last person says it's fine.
