Working back from the window
Tell us the date and the time window when you book. We plan the pickup backwards from it. If the bike needs to arrive at seven in the morning, it's collected the evening before or very early that day, and the carrier waits close to the new address until you're ready for it.
Some families like the bike to be the very first vehicle to enter the new compound, ahead of the household truck. That's straightforward if we know. The bike comes off at the gate, someone from the family rides or wheels it in, and only then does the furniture vehicle pull up.
It's often easier than it sounds. Ulsoor's lanes are calmest before dawn, and a pre-dawn handover means the carrier can stand where it needs to without blocking a shopfront. The crew keeps the noise down and stays clear of whatever the family is doing inside.

Ulsoor is old cantonment ground, its streets laid out long before anyone imagined a vehicle carrying bikes. By seven, the residents' cars, the shop vans and the morning deliveries have usually claimed every metre of kerb, and a few lanes won't admit anything bigger than a tempo. In the apartment buildings, Embassy Crown, Sobha Turquoise, Salarpuria Paradise and the others around the lake, the bike usually lives in a basement and the facility desk wants notice. On an auspicious day, when several flats in one building may be moving at once, that notice matters even more.
Central roads stay slow most of the day, so outside of a dawn window we still load early.
Scooty shifting for the family scooter
Often the vehicle in the pooja is the family scooter rather than the motorcycle. It travels the same way, photographs first, padding at the handlebar and mirrors, then wrapped and strapped upright, and it's usually a little cheaper to move.
If the scooter is decorated for the day, flowers, a kumkum mark, a lime under the wheel, that's done at the new address, after it's unwrapped. The crew will unwrap it where you'd like it to stand.
A new scooty bought for the occasion, which happens, is a slightly different case. If it's coming straight from a showroom, it may not need us at all. If it was bought a little earlier and is parked at the old address, it travels like any other, and the pickup photos show it in showroom condition.
Empty the boot beforehand. Things left inside tend to get forgotten in the bustle of a house-warming.
