Car Transport Services in Electronic City
Families leaving Electronic City usually move everything at once. A transfer from one of the campuses, a household packed into a truck, and the car that did the school run and the Hosur Road commute. People naturally assume the car goes on the truck with the furniture. It doesn't.

InstantWhere are you moving?
Costs you nothing and there's no salesperson at the end of it.
A household goes on a goods truck with the furniture and cartons. A car goes on a car carrier, strapped at the wheels inside a closed vehicle built for it. They're planned together as one move, but over a long distance they travel separately and can arrive on different days. Knowing that early saves a lot of confusion at the other end.
Two vehicles, one plan
When you book a household move and a car together, we plan both at once. The pickup dates are set so the township's gate and lift are booked once, and the car is collected around the same time as the furniture leaves.
At the destination, each arrives on its own window. A goods truck going directly to your new address has its own timing. A car carrier, especially a shared one carrying other cars, follows its route and delivers within its window. We give you both windows at the start, rather than one date that only one of them can keep.
If having the car on the first day matters, a dedicated carrier can be timed more precisely, at a higher cost. If it doesn't, a shared carrier is the affordable choice.
Many families fly to the new city, receive the furniture first, and have the car arrive a little later. That's often the smoothest order, since the first days are spent unpacking rather than driving.
Whichever order you choose, tell us at booking who will receive each one, and on what days they'll be at the new address.
Township rules at the collection end
Electronic City's townships run move-outs tightly. Goods-vehicle slots are often booked through the association, gate passes need the vehicle's registration number in advance, and a few societies allow moves only in fixed weekend hours. A car carrier counts as a goods vehicle, so it needs its own entry on the gate pass.
Give us your tower and phase and we'll collect what the society needs, for both the goods truck and the car carrier.
The carrier doesn't go into the basement. The car is driven up to the gate or the society's loading area, photographed on all sides with its odometer noted, and loaded there. In the big townships, the drive from your tower to the goods gate can be a long one.
School-holiday months are the busiest, from about April through June, when families across the townships move before the new term. If you're moving then, book the society slots and our dates well in advance.
If two vehicles need the same gate on the same morning, we'll sequence them so the carrier and the truck aren't fighting for the same space.
Hosur Road and the start of the journey
Car carriers leaving Electronic City all start on Hosur Road, and the hour decides how that goes. At dawn the flyover and the service lanes are almost empty. By the time the campus buses are running, a long vehicle on those lanes moves at walking pace.
That's why loading here is planned for first light. A carrier that's loaded and rolling before the office shift begins has the easiest possible exit from the city.
Direction matters too. Cars bound for Tamil Nadu, Hosur, Krishnagiri, Salem and on to Chennai, are already on the right side of Bangalore and head straight down the highway.
Cars bound for the north, Hyderabad, Pune or Delhi NCR, face the opposite situation, with Silk Board and the whole city between them and the highway. For those, the very first slot of the day is worth asking for.
Inside Bangalore, a car going from Electronic City to Whitefield, Hebbal or anywhere else in the city is picked up and dropped off in a single day.
Getting the car ready
Run the fuel down in the last week. Clear the cabin, the boot and the glovebox of everything, including the school-run clutter and the township's parking remote, and lock the car. Hand over a single key and keep the second one at home.
Don't put household items in the car, however convenient it seems. It's tempting to fill the boot with a few boxes, but the car travels on a different vehicle and is checked as a car, empty.
Note the scratches you already know about, especially the ones from years of tight township parking. Mention anything that affects loading, a car seat fixed in the back is fine, a roof box or bike rack should come off.
The crew needs only copies of the car's papers, so the originals can stay in your folder.
Car transport from Electronic City to other cities
Most cars leaving Electronic City are going with a family on a transfer, often after several years in one of the townships.
A few go the other way, a car bought by a family member in another city and brought down to Electronic City for someone starting at one of the campuses. The same planning applies in reverse, with the township's gate and parking sorted before the carrier arrives. Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai and Delhi NCR are routes we quote all the time, and smaller cities too.
The price depends on the destination, the carrier type you choose and the car's size. When a company is paying for the transfer, its finance team usually wants the car listed on its own, so say so at booking. Journey cover is up to you, priced against the car's declared value.
Our survey is free, often a video call from the township, and the quote comes in writing with GST, listing both arrival windows when a household travels too. For the flat itself, see the Electronic City packers page.
