Car Transport Services in Marathahalli

Marathahalli has two faces. On the ORR and the main roads, big complexes with gates and room inside. In the lanes behind, towards Varthur Road and the old village, narrow streets, standalone blocks and parking meant for a hatchback at most.

A car carrier is a long vehicle. On the ORR it can't stop at all, and in the inner lanes it can't turn. So for a lot of Marathahalli cars, the carrier doesn't come to your gate. We agree a loading point somewhere it can stand safely, and one of the crew takes your car round to it.

How a driven transfer works

At the survey we look at your street and work out where the nearest safe loading point is, usually with a short video from you of the lane and the nearest main road. Sometimes it's just outside a complex gate on a service road. Often it's a wider road a short drive away, somewhere the carrier can stand with its ramps down for long enough to load.

On the day, you hand the keys to one of our crew at your building, and they take the car to the loading point themselves. The carrier is already waiting. You can come along if you like, and many people do, partly to see their car loaded and partly because it's the last time they'll see it until the other end.

The condition check happens before the car leaves your building. Photos of all four sides, any existing marks, and the odometer reading, so the short drive to the loading point is on record too.

If the car doesn't run, a driven transfer isn't possible. Then we'll look at a single-car trailer that can get closer, priced honestly at the survey, or winching it onto the carrier at the nearest point it can reach.

Timing around the bridge

The bridge over the ORR junction is the bottleneck for the whole eastern office belt, and from mid-morning it's close to standing still. Loading a car takes time, ramps down, wheels strapped, photos taken, and doing that on a road that's filling up is slow for everyone.

So we aim for the earliest slot your building allows. Early on a weekday the service roads near Kundalahalli Gate and Doddanekundi are quiet, and Sunday mornings are better still.

If your complex only lets cars out at a certain hour, or the basement ramp is closed for cleaning early in the day, or the guard changes shift at seven, tell us and we'll work to it.

The loading point is agreed in advance, so on the morning nobody is driving around looking for space with a car carrier behind them.

Monsoon mornings need a little more care. The service roads near the junction hold water after heavy rain, and loading on a flooded stretch is slow and messy. If the forecast is bad, we may suggest a different loading point or an hour later, once the water has drained.

The big complexes

In the larger complexes on the main roads, the carrier can sometimes stand at the gate or on the internal road. Purva Riviera and Purva Fountain Square, the family-sized ones, have a weekend rhythm of move-ins, so a weekday is often easier for a car carrier.

The premium towers see a lot of company-leased flats changing hands on weekdays. If you're in one of those, check with the manager whether the gate area will be clear on your date.

Ask your facility office what they need for a carrier at the gate, usually its registration number and a copy of your RC. Tell them which gate is nearest your block, and whether the guard there knows the carrier is coming. Some complexes have a goods entrance far from the one you use every day.

If the complex says no to a carrier inside, don't argue it. The driven transfer to an outside loading point is quick, and it keeps everyone at the gate happy.

Company-leased cars are common in the premium towers too. If the car belongs to your employer, bring a letter from them authorising the move, along with the RC copy.

Preparing the car

Run the tank down before the day. Less fuel means less weight on the carrier and less risk. Take everything out of the cabin and the boot, including documents and chargers. The car travels locked.

Note any scratches you already know about so the condition check is quick. Mention anything the crew should watch for, an alarm that goes off when the car is moved, a low front lip, a modified ride height that won't like a steep ramp.

Keep the original RC and insurance with you. The crew needs photocopies and your ID.

If you have a dashcam with parking mode, switch it off or unplug it. It will record the whole journey and drain the battery doing it.

And if the car has a spare key, keep it at home rather than in the glovebox. The crew needs one key, and the spare is your insurance against that one going astray.

Car transport from Marathahalli

From the eastern side of the city, routes to Chennai and the east are quick to start. Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi NCR and the smaller cities in between are all routes we quote.

What you pay depends on the destination, on sharing a carrier or reserving one, on how big the car is, and on how close the carrier can get. The driven transfer is part of that and goes into the survey quote, never onto the bill afterwards. The figure is written down, GST included, alongside a delivery window we're confident of.

If you'd like cover for the journey, transit insurance is optional and based on the value you declare. Inside Bangalore, a car moved across the city arrives the same day. The household side of a Marathahalli move is on our packers page for the area.
